Russia's war in Ukraine fundamentally changed the life of each of its residents. As a result of bombing and constant shelling, residential buildings, infrastructure and even entire cities were destroyed.

The war brought destruction, fear, loneliness and sheer pain. It causes irreparable damage to children's psychological health. It is never possible to predict how and what will affect the psychological and physical health of the child and whether the child will be able to recover at all after such a horror in childhood.

In the conditions of war, it is most difficult for Ukrainian orphans. Deprived of parental warmth and care, they suffer the most, because they do not feel completely protected even in peacetime.

In order to save the most vulnerable part of Ukrainian society, the charity project "Childhood Without War" was launched.

The cost of safe stay for 1 child is €458 per month

The basic cost of one child's stay per month in 2023 is 360 euros, evacuation - 180 euros.
At the moment, we managed to optimize these costs. For 2023, the basic cost of one child's stay per month is 322 euros, and the cost of evacuating a new child is 100 euros.

"And they won't shoot here?" — this was the first question of the children when they came to Turkey."

- says Vasyl Bodnar, Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey.

"Almost all my wishes have come true here, only one thing remains."

— says project participant Lilya.
